Noise is not the only indicator that brake repair may be necessary. Have you noticed your brake light on after you have released your parking brake. If so, have your brake fluid level checked as soon as possible; an illuminated brake light typically alerts the driver that the brake fluid level is low. If you see a light amber colored liquid pooling underneath your car, chances are that that is leaking brake fluid. You wont miss the smell.
