Lash it down, then fill the next section. Use as much rope as you need, and do not worry about using too much. Also make sure you know how to tie non slip knots beforehand, or you may open your container at the end of the move to find that all the ropes slackened and your belongings are in a disorganized pile. As you pack the moving storage, remember to concentrate the weight on the bottom, not at the front. Pad everything until nothing can move, or lash everything down with rope.
