Price will always be the first thing you look at when renting self storage. But it's important to look at more than the price advertised by the storage company. There can be plenty of hidden costs when renting a self storage unit, so be sure to look at the paperwork carefully. Might you be expected to pay extra for any insurance, or to use trolleys and pallet trucks? Is there a deposit or one time fee involved? Don't just look at what they say you'll pay. look at what they don't say you'll pay.
