Located around the George Eastman House and Memorial Art Gallery, this neighborhood features the ARTWalk, plus many great, inexpensive places to rent. Live closer to downtown for around the same price, maybe lower, as Park Ave. South Wedge has a grittier reputation than the others, but has recently been rehabilitated into a great neighborhood for young people. Rents are cheaper there, with a typical one bedroom rent running at about $500 a month, studios at $400. Great places in the area include Lux Lounge, Godiva's, India House, and Highland Park.
